It is important that history reflect how evil of a man Fidel Castro was and for us to remember that the Cuban people are a very long way from being truly free. The Cuban people deserve actual freedom from the Castro family’s oppression, and the United States has a responsibility to be a better friend and ally in helping the Cuban people in their pursuit of liberty and justice.
