Kuster supported Scarano throughout the application process, and she wrote a letter of support to the President urging his appointment: Mark Scarano has spent his career working to increase economic development opportunities for residents in New HampshiresGrafton County. I was proud to support his application to serve as the Federal Cochairperson for the Northern Border Regional Commission, and I congratulate him on his Senate confirmation last evening. The Northern Border Regional Commission was established in 2008 as part of the bipartisan Farm Bill.
