H.Res.692 honors the work of school psychologists as an integral part of the dedicated team of professionals working in our schools to ensure every student has the opportunity to achieve academic success and reach their full potential. The resolution is supported by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP).When students have access to the support and resources they need to succeed, they learn more and live a healthier life. Every day, school psychologists work tirelessly to help provide students with those resources, said Rep. Loebsack. School psychologists play a critical role in our educational system and I am proud to again introduce this resolution to honor their hard work.School psychologists are uniquely qualified and critical members of school teams who support students' ability to learn and teachers' ability to teach by applying their expertise in mental health, learning, and behavior. Now more than ever, we need the work that school psychologists do to keep schools safe and free of violence, and to improve the academic achievement of students.
