The bill, which passed the Senate yesterday, Transnational Drug Trafficking Act (S. 706) is the counterpart to Representative Marino’s bill H.R. 2114, the Transnational Drug Trafficking Act of 2013. Congressman Marino said the following of the bill: “There is a long list of priorities in the 114th Congress and this bill will be one of them. I am glad the Senate chose to pass their version of my bill and we have got to get moving on this as soon as possible because it is part of our overall strategy to secure the border and protect Americans.
