By taking steps to reduce waste and enacting commonsense reforms to entitlement programs, H.J. Res. 59 saves our hardworking taxpayers $85 billion. While it doesn’t completely solve Washington’s out of control spending, this bill reduces the deficit, while sparing Americans from massive tax hikes. “I congratulate Chairman Ryan for once again putting our country first and setting aside political gimmicks to break Washington gridlock.”   ### 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
