In the letter, the delegation showed support for Governor Jim Justices request to include West Virginia in any request submitted to Congress for supplemental appropriations. A major disaster declaration was made for Harrison, Marion, Marshall, and Wetzel counties after the storms. Federal funding was made available Doddridge, Harrison, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio, Preston, Randolph, Taylor, Tucker, Tyler, and Wetzel counties.
