Prescription drug prices are out of control, but a government-takeover is not the answer to lowering the prices, Mullin said. This legislation would result in fewer cures, less innovation, and even create a 95% tax on cures. Instead of working together to come up with a bipartisan bill that could actually get signed into law - like H.R. 19, the Lower Costs, More Cures Act- Democrats are ramming through another partisan bill that will go nowhere. President Trump has said lowering the cost of prescription drugs is a priority and we should be working together to get a bill to his desk, Mullin continued.
