By giving them a well-deserved pay raise, we recognize their constant commitment and lend our gratitude for their brave sacrifice. A Second District priority, I’m also glad to see the DOD Workforce Flexibility Act extended through 2021 in this year’s NDAA. I applaud President Trump for his strong support of our nation’s military and this year’s NDAA.” The FY18 NDAA’s 2.4% pay raise for our men and women in uniform is the biggest pay raise for our troops in eight years. Additionally, the legislation increases the overall topline funding, adds additional troops to our Armed Forces, and invests in new technology to help the United States confront conflicts around the globe. The bill also includes language that extends Congressman Mullin’s DOD Workforce Flexibility Act through Fiscal Year 2021.
