"These ranchers made it through the drought last year that was so devastating only to have a loss like this. It’s going to be extremely challenging, but we will try to get this farm bill done as soon as possible," the Republican congresswoman said. Noem also asked ranchers if the current $100,000 cap on individual catastrophic losses in the farm bill would be enough to cover what they lost in the blizzard on Oct. 4.
