The Project School Emergency Response to Violence grant aims to help the Oglala Sioux Tribe deal with the deaths. Friday, Representative Kristi Noem will be in Pine Ridge along with Representative Tim Murphy of Pennsylvania, who is also a child psychologist, to talk about the suicide crisis. Rep. Kristi Noem says, "The young people, girls and boys, are feeling a loss of hope. I want to bring Rep. Murphy down there to give some expertise and some insight into what we might be able to do asfederal governmentrepresentatives, what kind of resources we can bring to be helpful into the future."
