Norton said that the Cleveland Park neighborhood near the Cathedral has needed a new supermarket for years. Just last year, Norton cut the ribbon at the grand opening ceremony of the NoMa Giant, located on the newly renovated H Street Corridor in northeast, and another at 7th and O Street NW, in 2010.
