Minnesota doctors, nurses, clinicians, and other health care professionals—including Care Providers of Minnesota, the Mayo Clinic, Zipnosis, Novu Health, Life Science Alley, and others—all identified burdensome rules that are increasing the cost of Medicare. “Minnesota health professionals came together to identify key areas bureaucratic rules and mandates that should be eliminated because they’re driving up costs for seniors,” said Congressman Paulsen. “We can find bipartisan solutions to make Medicare simpler and more efficient for beneficiaries, and conversations with these stakeholders is an important part of that process.” Congressman Paulsen, a champion of small business and advocate of free enterprise, entrepreneurship, and innovation, serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, the bicameral Joint Economic Committee, and is co-chair of the Congressional Medical Technology Caucus.
