Mark Pocan (WI-02) today was elected, by his colleagues, as the 1st Vice Chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC). The 1st Vice Chair responsibilities include new member recruitment to expand the Caucus and taking a lead on crafting the progressive message for 2015. In addition to serving on the CPC Executive Committee, the 1st Vice Chair will also lead CPC meetings in the absence of the Co-Chairs. “I am humbled and honored to be selected by my colleagues in the CPC for this leadership position,” said Representative Mark Pocan. “I particularly want to thank Co-Chairs Reps. Keith Ellison and Raul Grijalva for their support and confidence in my leadership abilities.
