They refused to identify who was ultimately responsible for the blatant abuse of power in targeting conservative groups in processing tax-exempt applications. The IRS must be held accountable for its actions. I will continue working with my colleagues to uncover who is responsible and take steps to ensure that no group or individual, regardless of their political affiliation, has their constitutional rights trampled on or threatened by the IRS.
