Knowing foreign leaders’ communication might be necessary to that end. I hope that Secretary of State Kerry is robustly defending our national security,” Rep. Rohrabacher said. “The hysteria expressed in some corners of Europe and in some of the press should have no bearing on our security requirements. We owe no explanation for our efforts to keep Americans safe. We must responsibly collect intelligence. While being opposed to excessive surveillance of American citizens and mindful and appreciative of constitutional limitations, I applaud US intelligence efforts overseas to acquire information to keep our people safe.” Rep.
