Dana Rohrabacher, R-CA, released the following statement: "Agree or disagree with the grand jury's decision regarding Officer Wilson, as Americans we should together find the violent aftermath appalling and distressing. I agree with Michael Brown's mother that every police officer should wear a body camera. It is time for law enforcement to adopt such easily available technology. It is likewise an occasion for American citizens in every community to understand that such an evidentiary equalizer is working on their behalf whenever they find themselves face to face with law officers. Both sides benefit. “The organized lawlessness that broke out, in which many small businesses were broken into and burned down, was an abomination. Still, the issue was seen by many in the black community as symbolic of an unacceptable level of injustice meted out by law enforcement to minorities, whose lives count as much as any American’s. “A body camera might not have deterred last night's most determined agitators, but it could have spared a great deal of grief.
