CJPA will solicit proposals from individuals/groups in the NMI to apply for these federal funds: $531,675 for CJPAs Victim Assistance Program. The grant supports direct services to crime victims including information and referral services, crisis counseling, temporary housing, criminal justice advocacy support, and other assistance needs. CJPA administers the funds to state and community-based victim service program operations. A portion of the funds will be used to support training and technical assistance for victim assistance grantees and others who work with crime victims. $587,228 for CJPAs STOP Violence Against Women Formula Grant Program. The grant will be used to develop and strengthen law enforcement, prosecution, and court strategies to combat violent crimes and to develop and strengthen victim services. $201,418 for CJPAs Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program. The grant will support multi-jurisdictional drug and gang task forces, crime prevention programs, law enforcement programs, anti-domestic violence programs, courts, corrections, treatment and justice information sharing initiatives. $74,083 for juvenile delinquency prevention The U.S. Department of Justice has awarded $74,083 in grant funding to CJPA to support local delinquency and intervention efforts and juvenile justice system improvements. The Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Program grant funds will also support the Juvenile Justice Specialist. $213,978 awarded to the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence The U.S. Department of Justice has announced a grant award of $213,978 to support the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence in their efforts to coordinate services for women who are victims of violence. | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
