The departments are hosting a series of interactive webinars, each on a specific class of persons that WOIA aims to help. The September 2nd webinar is focused on Individuals with Disabilities, the September 5th event on Disconnected Youth. Find the complete schedule of programs at https://www.doleta.gov/wioa/. WOIA is a replacement of the familiar Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and came out of the House Education and the Workforce Committee of which I am a member.
