However, today's United Nations Security Council Resolution goes against the fundamental idea that long-term stability can only be achieved through direct bilateral negotiations between the Israeli and Palestinian people. In these times of violence and unrest throughout the region, our energy should be focused on bringing people together, not pushing them apart.
