After three decades, we have finally passed legislation to overhaul our nations tax system. Our tax reform package will make America more competitive, bring jobs back to our country, and put more money in the pockets of hardworking taxpayers leading to greater economic growth for our country. share: f t The following statement can be attributed to Congressman Steve Stivers (R-OH):Today is a historic day. After three decades, we have finally passed legislation to overhaul our nations tax system. Our tax reform package will make America more competitive, bring jobs back to our country, and put more money in the pockets of hardworking taxpayers leading to greater economic growth for our country. Tax reform is also a win for Ohios 15th district. Throughout the process, I fought for what I know is important to the families and communities in the district, like the graduate student tuition waiver, expanding the child tax credit, continuing the historic tax credit, and preserving the low income housing tax credit. All of these provisions were included in the final package passed today.
