Our fabulous shopping boutique is held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. so be sure to get there early to secure those wonderful gift items, a sparkling piece of jewelry, stylish fashions and some truly great bargains. A great opportunity to start that Holiday shopping. Lunch is served at noon. We still have space for a few more boutique vendors; if interested, please call our office. It is part of the tradition of this event to honor those who share our conviction and who have made a loyal, steadfast commitment to our mission. Our honorees have supported the Alzheimer’s Family Center for many years, helping us extend the services we offer to our clients. It is with great pleasure that the Center announces its prestigious 2014 Honorees: Congressman Ted Deutch Visiting Angels of SE Florida Bridget “Brie” Parks HarborChase Memory Care This past year we have provided over 39,950 hours of in-home respite, volunteer companionship, case management, counseling and support groups to those individuals stressed by the day-to-day care of a loved one stricken with Alzheimer’s. The luncheon is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, with all monies raised used to underwrite vital services for Broward County families struggling with the effects of this disease. Won’t you please join us and help promote our cause? Don’t miss the “AutunmFest” Luncheon on October 28th! Cost to attend is $50 per person; a cash bar will be offered. Tables of eight or ten are available. Unable to attend? You can support us by placing an ad in our souvenir journal or purchase raffle tickets with three cash prizes.
