Tipton, a House Small Business Subcommittee Chairman and founder of the Congressional Small Business Caucus, visited with members of the Pueblo Economic Development Corporation (PEDCO) and toured Solar Roast Coffee to discuss ways to encourage business growth and job creation in Pueblo, hear about what’s working locally, and share information about resources and tools available free to small businesses for Small Business Saturday. “Getting feedback from job-creators and those engaged on the frontlines of economic development is invaluable as we work in Washington to ensure that government is helping, not hurting small business growth. Main Street Pueblo is a prime example of how small businesses play a vital role in the health of the local economy and strength of the community. Businesses like Solar Roast Coffee have found innovative ways to bring their communities unique, high quality products and services not found anywhere else, and have created jobs and economic growth in the process.
