But the Farm Bill is not just for our farmers and ranchers, it is truly for all Americans as our agriculture industry plays a vital role in ensuring we have access to a safe and affordable food supply. It's also good to see that provisions cutting school lunch assistance programs did not make the final version. Those provisions would have hurt Southwest Michigan kids and families. As our farmer friends continue to face challenges, it's imperative we give them the tools they need to service and thrive. The Conference Report to Accompany H.R. 2 is supported by the Michigan Farm Bureau, previously passed the U.S. Senate, and now heads to the president's desk for signature.
