Following the ceremony, veterans, active duty military personnel and their families are encouraged to participate in the Veterans Town Hall to voice their thoughts and opinions regarding veteran issues and learn more about what Congressman Veasey is doing for the DFW Metroplex in Congress. About the Congressional Veterans Commendation Program (CVC) The CVC is a nominations-based program designed to recognize the wartime sacrifices and peacetime community involvement of veterans of the Thirty-third Congressional District of Texas. To be eligible, veterans must currently reside in the 33rd Congressional District.
