I’ve carried my conversations with local officials, union leaders, and community stakeholders over recent months directly to Congressional leadership to secure this funding. “Unfortunately, our budget realities are falling on deaf ears at the Department of Energy, and that impacts families in southern Ohio. The Obama administration continues to be missing in action in attempts to fulfill its promise to Ohioans and fully fund the cleanup project within their annual budget requests.
