The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the Cumming Regional Readiness Center located at 100 Aquatic Circle, Cumming, Georgia 30040. “Voters in the Seventh District must be engaged to influence Washington. I hold town hall meetings regularly across the district, and to the credit of Forsyth County citizens, they show up in big numbers and with big ideas. These robust discussions are critical to making ours a government of the people,” said Woodall. Woodall has made town hall meetings a regular occurrence across the county, working to host events in different locations in an effort to evenly distribute opportunities to attend. The last 7th District Town Hall was held in the Forsyth County Administration Building and hosted over 100 participants. “Going to where people are is a very important part of what we do. A lot has happened in the short time that has passed since our last visit. We’ve passed legislation to protect Lake Lanier, been through a government shutdown, and more. And though the year is coming to a close, we have a lot of work on the horizon, from the FARM Bill conference to perhaps tax reform. There is no time to rest and I hope to see a good crowd at the meeting.” For those not able to attend the meeting, Woodall is also hosting a telephone town hall meeting via conference call on Tuesday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to participate in the telephone town hall should call (877) 229-8493 on Tuesday evening just before 7:30 p.m. and enter the pass code 17849 when prompted to be connected to the call.
