U.S. Senator Roy Blunt, a member of the Senate Subcommittee on Defense Appropriations, made the announcement onWednesday, December 16, 2015,that this is one of the several defense prioritiesincluded in the recently passed appropriations bill. The provisionincludes $7.5 million to support Army National Guard Cyber Protection Teams. In Missouri, the money will be used to take on additional cyber units tasked to identify and reduce emerging cyber threats to the United States. The National Guard Bureau has recognized the Missouri Cyber Team as an exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable team.
