U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is welcoming Robbin Morrison Taylor back to his team to serve as his State Director for Kentucky. She previously worked for Senator McConnell from 1991 to 2000 as the South Central Kentucky Field Representative in Bowling Green. Taylor, currently a Principal at McCarthy Strategic Solutions in Frankfort, will transition and begin her new role as State Director in January. Taylor will succeed Terry Carmack, who McConnell recently named as his new Chief of Staff in his Washington, D.C. personal office. Robbin is known across Kentucky for producing results. I'm glad she accepted my offer to bring her ability and leadership back to my team as State Director, said Senator McConnell. Robbin's years of experience will be invaluable as she leads my state staff to connect Kentucky families with their government. Working with my new Chief of Staff Terry Carmack, she'll help keep our Commonwealth's priorities front and center in the Senate. Taylor spent 18 years at Western Kentucky University in several prominent roles including as Vice President of Public Affairs. She represented WKU's interests in Washington, D.C. and across the state with special focus in Frankfort directing development, alumni, corporate, and government relations. Taylor earned a Master's of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Public Relations from Western Kentucky University.After graduating from WKU in 1990, Taylor began her career as an intern in Senator McConnell's press office.
