U.S. Sen. Jim Risch selected two college students from the state of Idaho to serve as interns in his Washington, D.C. office this fall. The interns have had the opportunity to engage at the national level of government while assisting with constituent services and legislative research. Interning in the U.S. Senate is an excellent way to learn about the legislative branch of government and to see where much of our nations early history took place, said Risch. Emily and Devin have served Idaho well during their internship and each has a bright future ahead. The interns are: Emily Greene, a native of Boise, is a recent graduate of the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies with a minor in German language, and a Bachelor of Science degree in History. Emily is the daughter of David and Susan Greene. She studied abroad in Germany for a year during school, served as a research scholar at for the U of I Martin Institute, and was a note taker for the Disability Support Services at U of I. Devin Ferrell of Boise is a recent graduate of Boise State University with a dual degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations and Communications.
