Kevin Yoder voted “Yes” and the House passed H.R. 3350 – the Keep Your Health Plan Act – in a bipartisan vote of 261-157 Friday afternoon. The legislation would give insurance companies the flexibility to continue providing existing health care policies that would otherwise be cancelled due to Affordable Care Act regulations. Millions of Americans have received health insurance cancellation notices recently even though the president had stated that if Americans liked their current health insurance plans, they could keep them. Following the vote in the House, Rep. Yoder stated: “Today, the House voted in a bipartisan way to allow Americans to keep the health insurance plans they currently have, that they know work best for their situation. The President told the American people over and over if they liked their plans, they could keep their plans, and the House agrees with this reasonable expectation. At the very least, Americans should be able to keep plans that work for them, and the mandated penalties on individuals who can't sign up to replace their cancelled health care plans should be delayed.” ### | 1 | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z | 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z |
