http://yoho.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/yoho-votes-to-provide-certainty-to-american-taxpayers Yoho Votes to Provide Certainty to American Taxpayers 2015-12-17 2015 2015-12 Republican House FL Ted Yoho Y000065 yoho.house.gov     legacy Washington D.C. Congressman Ted S. Yoho (R-FL-03) voted in favor of H.R. 2029, the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act. This bill makes permanent a number of temporary provisions of the Internal Revenue Code which are renewed every year on short-term or a retroactive basis. The bill also includes a number of reforms to the Internal Revenue Service, the treatment of tax-exempt organizations, processes in United States Tax Court, as well as makes changes to certain tariff policies. Today I voted to give certainty and stability to hard working American taxpayers and the nations job creators. The tax extensions we made permanent today are the same ones that come up for renewal each and every year. This process is not only a waste of time, but it also hinders our economy from reaching its full potential. "Todays vote was also the beginning of the much needed change to of our bloated tax code. Simplifying the nations tax code must be a priority in the 2016. This sort of reform will unleash our economy and everyone will benefit. Making America stronger is my main motivation and todays vote is going to do just that." 1 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z 2026-03-30T12:14:52Z
